NOTICE INVITING TENDER |

Sealed Lump- sum tenders
in two bid systems (technical and financial
bid) are hereby invited by the undersigned
on behalf of Governor of Sikkim from
bonafide firms specialised in the
construction of Hospital projects for
execution of the under mention project on
turnkey basis. |

Criteria of
eligibility for issued of tender documents:- |

|
|
| |
The intending firm should
have successfully completed at least one
building project in the recent past (i.e.
within the last 5 years) with civil contract
casting over Rs.150 crores as turnkey
contract, for execution of civil works with
RCC/Structural steel farming, Internal
sanitary/plumbing, water supply,
electrification, elevators, internal roads,
sewerage & drainage works, car parking lot,
fire protection & fire fighting system,
electrical substation including HT & LT
distribution cable, panel board,
Transformers, Generators, Earthing, Campus
lighting, public address and paging system,
furnishing, air-conditioning/ventilation,
centralised medical gas system and acoustics
under one turnkey agreement. |

The yearly turnover of
the firm should not be less than Rs. 150
crores. Audited balance sheets for last
three financial years are to be submitted
along with IT & ST clearance certificates
and financial soundness certificate from
Nationalised Bank. |

Application from
interested firms fulfilling the above
eligibility criteria should be sent to the
Add. Chief Engineer, Buildings and Housing
Deptt. Gangtok, Sikkim so as to reach his
office on or before 4th October, 2008 along
with their corporate profile. |

Necessary tender papers
with terms, conditions and site plan etc.
can be had from the office of the Chief
Account Officer, Buildings and Housing,
Govt. of Sikkim, Gangtok on behalf of the
Governor of Sikkim from 13th Oct’ 2008 to
17th Oct’ 2008 during office hours on
production of Account Payee Demand Draft of
any schedule of Chief Account Officer,
Building & Housing Department, Government of
Sikkim. Payable at Gangtok. |

The tender will be
received upto 1400 hrs on 23rd October, 2008
by the Chief Account Officer, Buildings &
Housing Department and the Technical bids
will be opened on the same day. |
|

Successful Firms who
will meet the minimum qualifying marks as
indicated in the tender documents will be
intimated and financial bids of only
technically qualified firms will be opened
on 25th October, 2008 during the office
hour. |
|

|
|
| |
The tenderers are
requested to go through the tender documents
and site plan carefully and visit the site
and appraise themselves of the site
condition fully before submission of tender.

The Earnest Money amount
2.5% of the project cost should be submitted
with the tender document in the form of
Demand Draft of any Schedule Nationalised
Bank in favour of Chief Accounts Officer,
Building & Housing Department, Govt. of
Sikkim, payable at Gangtok. |

| |
The tender shall remain
valid for a period of 90 (ninety) days from
the date of opening of tenders. No tenderer
will be allowed to withdraw his tender after
opening of the tenders, then his earnest
money shall be forfeited. |

Applications from Joint
/ Association of Firms will not be accepted. |
|
| |
|
|
| |
The Building & Housing
Dept. Govt. of Sikkim, reserves the right to
accept or reject any or all tenders without
assigning any reason whatsoever. |
|

|
|
| |
Agreement shall be drawn
with the successful tenderer on prescribed
form attached with the tender document. The
tenderer shall quote their price bids as per
various terms & conditions of the said
document, which will form part of the
agreement. |
